Modelling and validation of corrosion, fouling and scaling in air cooled condensers and effect of prognostic maintenance

Motivation of the project:

Air cooled condensers undergo deterioration in capacity over time due to erosion and fouling. Neither designers nor operators have a tool to assess life of designed equipment or assess performance of existing equipment.

Outcome:

Models to predict deterioration in heat exchanger performance based selected air quality and assessing RUL before and after maintenance.
